Radio Work
Here is a page to display and demonstrate my passion for radio as well as audio editing! Having produced radio documentaries, dramas, and short pieces of work for radio I felt I should have a section dedicated to it. Having built up my experience over the years within music and radio studios has meant that I have gained knowledge in music and general audio editing for an array of genres and platforms.
Below are just a few examples of audio work I have produced and been apart of over the past few years...

FCOT FM 87.7 Radio
My role within FCOT FM consisted of being Programme Controller as well as technical operator. I worked within the radio management team to produce a live commercial radio station to the local community of Farnborough. The role was to schedule all music, local adverts, idents, and promotional content throughout the whole month of broadcast through playout systems and scheduling software. Working alongside head management and technical teams developed my skills in management and helped to progress my skills within the industry and gave an insight in to what it takes to fill this position.
As well as being programme controller I was able to build my portfolio presenting a range of live and pre-recorded shows from live music sessions (including outside broadcasts) to more specialist shows.
Mission Control
For an assignment at Uni myself and fellow colleague, Aidan Redman, had to produce a radio drama that was an original idea from start to finish. This consisted of pre-production research work, to casting, recording, and editing the episode together. For this we decided to do one around space and to try and develop our understanding of audio drama and to push the boundaries by running two narratives side by side via different locations.
In this episode the (DSE) is carrying on its mission to explore the deep reaches of the universe, when they indirectly find themselves entering a asteroid field. Communicating to ground control with an update about there mission, they get informed that on their current trajectory they will end up in this field were they are likely to be hit.

Safari Life
Safari Life is an educational radio drama aimed at a younger age demographic of seven to ten year olds. This educational drama is a hybrid of genres as it combines an easy to flow style of narrative drama with an educational aspect to it. This niche genre is intended to educate the younger audience whilst entertaining them and keeping them engaged at the same time.
All episodes stand individually teaching the younger generation about different animals per episode. Below are the three dramas I produced and contain an array of voices from individuals such as the tour guide and tourists to the animals expressing themselves through personification and human traits.
